High Quality Custom Rubber Sheeting
DLR specialises in providing uncured sheeting in various forms to be fabricated and cured by the client or DLR. Most rubber sheeting is supplied in a cured or vulcanised form, making our rubber sheeting versatile and adaptable. Application-specific materials are chosen, calendared and provided on a roll for subsequent fabrication by the client. In both cases, cured and uncured, woven or knitted textiles may be inserted to produce the desired properties for parts such as diaphragms, stamped gaskets and conveyor belts, to name a few applications.
Rubber component design can be critical to its performance. We offer advice on all aspects of product design, helping to enhance performance & service life. Working from a sample, sketch or drawing, we can quickly select the materials required to provide a quotation for parts and associated tooling.
A key part of our offering is the ability to provide rubber to metal bonded components. In addition to this, some dynamic applications require textiles as an essential part of the design. These textiles impart strength & longevity to the part; polyester, polyamide, metal and carbon fibre are some of the textile materials used in rubber components.
